I was able to ride everything in the first two hours of the day (10-12) and it got markedly more crowded after noon. But either way, you can either buy or redeem your ticket at an automatic kiosk and it will print out a wristband for you. I'm not sure it's worth buying ahead online - there was a processing fee that I'm not sure applys in person. But it's a lot of fun with a good mix of rides for kids and teens/adults. Especially since you can get into Valley Fair for only $30-40. I do think it's a little overpriced for what it is. Pepsi Orange Streak is nice and zoomy, no big drops, Spongebob Rock Bottom Plunge is ALL drop, and it's a hoot to have all these rides take you ride up to the atrium ceiling.
